At the end of the course, the first dance set began with the First Dance. We chose “At Last” by Etta James.
The song has a dramatic beginning so he walked me around the room in a circle.
Dancing away with the guests watching. I love my french bustle!
There was no mistake- our dance lessons payed off!
One way we let guests know that there was dancing between the courses was by listing it on the menu. Our menu designer, Katrina, listed dancing six times to create a visual break between the courses. It also signaled to the reader that, “Yes, we expect you to get up and dance.” It worked!
