Registry + Invitations = Bad.
Slate posted an article, “Can I Turn My Wedding into a Charity Fundraiser?“. While I am all for registering at a charity in lieu of gifts, I disagree with their advice to post charity registry on their invitations. To me, weddings do not equal gifts. (Apparently, two of my guests agree: they opted not to give us a gift.)
