Royal Wedding, The countdown begins…

To say that I am thrilled at the plans of a royal wedding is an understatement. I cannot wait to see how their plans will impact future trends. I pray that Kate is a More is More kind of girl.

The future Mr. and Mrs. attending a wedding together
which is a big deal if you have been following this couple)

I remember watching Charles and Diana’s wedding on the tele when I was 5.
Her dress – and her 25 foot train – was insanely over the top

I can’t wait to see what is planned for 2011! Let the countdown begin…

Wedzu is an amazing new online source for indie and handmade wedding items. This site pretty much has it all. Products range from wedding attire to reception decor to gorgeous jewelry.

Here are some of my favorites – and as you’ll see by the large amount, it was not easy to narrow it down.

How great would this tie be on a little ring bearer?!

Love this wedding dress.

Check it out here.

One of my favorite photographers, Dennis Lee, is offering a wonderful opportunity! Get your photo taken by him for a donation that will go towards Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation, Inc.

Saturday, November 13, 2010
10 – 6PM
Studio 415
415 W Huron St.

Bear Necessities Pediatric is a national organization founded in 1992 and has been actively contributing to children stricken with cancer. President Kathleen A. Casey and her 8-year-old son, Barrett “Bear” Krupa, started Bear Necessities during a long, exhausting struggle to defeat this devastating disease. Ultimately, the disease took the life of “Bear”.Cancer is the #1 disease killer in children under the age of 15.Bear Necessities is there to provide hope and support through medical research grants, information and support grants and their Small Miracle Program which works to fulfill special wishes to help brighten the life of a child going through cancer.

Here’s how it works. For a minimum donation of $100.00, Dennis will spend 10-15 minutes doing a portrait session of you, your family, your pets, your friends or even something you want to sell on e-Bay. Just show up. You’ll get a large amount of images in that time; he shoots fast and everything is already set up. All the photos are burned to disc for you to take home. Lastly, as in previous years, every single dollar contributed goes to Bear Necessities.

Jen + Brendan’s A New Leaf Wedding, the details…

Friday, I posted about Jen + Brendan’s beautiful April wedding…
Today’s post is all about the details!
All photos by Olivia Leigh.

Jen’s bouquet was the perfect example of how simple can be stunning.

A New Leaf announced the wedding via a chalkboard.

I love the rustic look of the couple’s ceremony, it was perfect for the venue!
Guests were able to put wishes on branches for the couple.

The programs looked homemade.

The cake’s four tiers were decorated with calla lilies.

The outdoor space is so warm and inviting.
