The Bridal Lounge at the James was a huge success! The entire Honey Bee Weddings team, as well as all of our vendors, had a fantastic time. There were a ton of surprises including hand massages, donuts, and an amazing giveaway for a night’s stay at the James. I even was able to meet some of my fabulous readers, which is always fun bonus. As the Bridal Lounge winded down, there was an official after party in the James Club where we had truffled popcorn, cheese sticks, and lots of champagne! I cannot wait to share the professional photos.

On top of my event, there was an event conference in town. I’ve been spending all week at McCormick Place, which exceeded my expectations. The conference was similar to Pinterest; it like trying to take a drink from a fire hose! I have a pile on my desk that is epic (well, for me. I’m OCD neat and orderly).
My to do list
My weekend plans are to take off a well deserved day of rest tomorrow to spend time with my family from Texas. The rest of the long weekend will be spent catching up on work, watching the Inauguration, and maybe a bit of shopping.
