Misse Daniel
Misse Daniel started Honey Bee Weddings because she adores weddings. Her experience in event planning began while working for a non-profit. After successfully coordinating many events, a co-worker asked Misse for help in planning an out of state wedding on a bison ranch in Kansas. After the lovely wedding, Misse realized that she found her calling. Misse launched Honey Bee Weddings, in 2007. Her vision came to life within a few months and has been steadily growing.
Misse has appeared on WCIU, Chicago Social Brides magazine, Brides Chicago magazine, and Get Married magazine as well as Style Me Pretty, 100 Layer Cake, and Elizabeth Anne Designs. Misse has also spoken at Loyola University Chicago and at the University of Chicago Women in Business conference. Misse and Honey Bee Weddings actively supports the Women’s Treatment Center, Junior League Chicago and the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago.
Misse holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology as well as an MBA from Loyola University Chicago. Misse resides in Noble Square with her husband, Denton, and daughter, Francesca.

Rebecca Franson
Rebecca realized planning dynamic events was her passion and began coordinating bridal showers, baby showers, philanthropic events and special celebrations. Rebecca assisted on close friends and family’s weddings throughout the US and Internationally, both intimate and large.
Rebecca earned her Bachelors in Art History with a background in fashion, interior design, photography and graphic design. She has now been a part of the Chicago design and event planning community over the past eight years.
She has appeared in CS Modern Luxury, Modern Luxury Brides Chicago, Candid Candace and The Chicago Life Blog. Attending the latest Bridal events and fashion shows, with Honey Bee Weddings owner Misse Daniel to Vera Wang, BHLDN, Waldorf Astoria and The Ritz Carlton. Rebecca stays in touch with what is most current and will be in style for the next Wedding seasons.
Rebecca is going into her fourth year as a Wedding Coordinator with Honey Bee Weddings. She has connected with the best vendors in the industry along with performing weddings at the most amazing venues in the Chicagoland area such as Cafe Brauer, Germania Place, Art Institute of Chicago, The Drake Hotel, Chicago Nature Museum and more.

Michela began her career in New York as a luxury wedding and event planner for Colin Cowie Celebrations. After realizing her passion for design and wedding related trends – she moved on to become a member of the Wedding Style team at Brides Magazine, where she conceptualized and styled flower arrangements, cakes, invitations and decor for the magazines photo shoots. She also designed and planned their events, including Brides Live Wedding in Jamaica. Since moving to Chicago, her time with Modern Luxury Weddings has given her a comprehensive understanding of the local industry, which pairs well with her knowledge of national market trends and extensive planning experience.

Kate is a small town lady with big city dreams. After growing up in Hays, Kansas, Kate could not wait to move to Chicago to begin her college adventures. She immediately fell in love with the city life and found inspiration around every corner. She enjoys traveling, planning social events, keeping up with the latest music and fashion trends, and meeting new people.
During an internship with Honey Bee Weddings, Kate blossomed in the wedding world. As a hopeless romantic, she was thrilled to help assist in planning and coordinating each wedding. While working at Honey Bee Weddings, Kate found a passion for special events, blogging, and social media. Kate thrived in her role and now serves as an Assistant.
As a recent Loyola University Chicago graduate with Bachelor’s of Arts degrees in Advertising and Public Relations and a minor in Marketing, Kate looks forward to working on weddings in her role as an Assistant.

Ellie Poczatek
Ellie has always had a passion for event planning – especially those include beautiful flowers and special moments! While in college at Indiana University, she interned at Deer Park Manor and assisted in weddings of varying sizes. She’s also coordinated weddings for her hometown church, First Presbyterian Church in Bloomington, Indiana.
During the day, Ellie designs and coordinates events for a social lifestyle publication and has experience in a range of events, from intimate affairs to large-scale celebrations. Ellie’s calm demeanor, event experience and on-the-spot problem-solving can be the perfect support to you on your special day.
Ellie and her husband Jeff live in the Loop with their mini goldendoodle puppy, Prince.
Lindsay Ewell
Ever since she was a child, Lindsay knew she wanted to explore the field of event planning. She first gained experience assisting her mother with events for her social groups. She is currently continuing her passion as an intern with Honey Bee Weddings. What she enjoys most about the event planning industry is getting to work with wonderful people to make their events a success.
Lindsay is originally from San Antonio, Texas. She moved to Chicago to attend Northwestern University, where she is currently earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Studies. She is a proud member of Alpha Chi Omega’s Gamma chapter and spends her free time working as a volunteer at the Evanston Animal Shelter.
Lindsay currently resides in Evanston with her cat Blueberry.
