Jen + Brendan’s A New Leaf Wedding, the details…

Friday, I posted about Jen + Brendan’s beautiful April wedding…
Today’s post is all about the details!
All photos by Olivia Leigh.

Jen’s bouquet was the perfect example of how simple can be stunning.

A New Leaf announced the wedding via a chalkboard.

I love the rustic look of the couple’s ceremony, it was perfect for the venue!
Guests were able to put wishes on branches for the couple.

The programs looked homemade.

The cake’s four tiers were decorated with calla lilies.

The outdoor space is so warm and inviting.

Congratulations!

Jen had a great time getting ready with her family.

Jen and Brendan’s first look. I love the look on Brendan’s face!

The couple did a gorgeous shoot around the city.

I love the elegance of the couple against the backdrop of this gritty wall.

The couple’s first dance – you can see how gorgeous Jen’s dress is as Brendan spins her.

Everyone had a great time getting out on the dance floor!

Tomorrow, we will focus on the details!

There are some couples that wait…

…and then, there are other couples that really wait until the last minute!
Kristen and Phillip met me at Goddess and the Grocer for an initial complimentary consultation. They told me that they had a venue but that they didn’t have a DJ, caterer, a cake, insurance or transportation. And their wedding was in six weeks. I closed my notebook and told them that they had to hire me. While that is not something that I usually say EVER, I could tell that this couple needed my help desperately. Well, the did hire me and everything turned out perfectly! The wedding was fantastic and the couple had a great day!

Kristen got ready at the Drake with her bridesmaid and family.

Champagne always makes the morning so much better!

Kristen is getting ready in her fabulous J. Crew wedding gown.

I loved her over sized necklace! It was such a classic statement piece!

Phillip started to get ready as well!

The guys wore fantastic green ties.

Here is the 63rd Street Beach House set up for the ceremony. I love that the couple bought a bunch of white balls to add some punch to the space!

Phillip waiting for his Bride.

The couple’s officiant knew the Bride and Groom very well making the ceremony heartfelt.

Kristen kept the ceremony decor to a minimum. She lined the aisles with colorful petals.

Now that is a great kiss!

Tomorrow, I will post the rest of the pictures from their wedding day.
