Tuxedos and Suits for Women for Under $200!

In 2014, Jeanne Foley and Diana Ganz saw an opportunity to make tuxedos and suits much more affordable. Foley was recently married and her groomsmen were forced to spend hundreds of dollars just to rent their attire, she decided to open up The Groomsman Suit with Diana. They started selling their tuxedos for an average price of $194. This is a huge discount compared to the usual $200 it costs to rent a tux just for the night.

Now The Groomsmen Suit are introducing TGS for Her, a line of suits and tuxedos designed for women and their body types! The line will include sizes 0-20, and will be available for pre-order in July.





The Groomsman Suit also offers many tools to make your experience really easy. There is a quick online “Fit Finder” quiz, which helps you choose the right size, without needing any measurements. TGS also provides free home trial packs so you can try out your order before buying it.  Pick out exactly what you want and TGS will send you brand-new suits and tuxedos to try on. If you love it you can keep it. Otherwise, exchanges and returns are free. Lastly, TGS facilitates the group ordering process so that everyone orders their attire in the right size and on time making the process super easy and stress-free.

My 1st DIY Project

As a long time reader of all things bridal, I’ve always been impressed by the various DIY projects. But I’ve always been a little scared to try to do something on my own. I decided that baby steps were in order.

Since I wanted to send a bridesmaid newsletter, I decided that this would be my trial by fire! BM newsletters are a nice way to make sure everyone gets thanked and has all of the details. Once I saw KatVon’s gorgeous bridesmaid card, I asked (and received!) her template.

My newsletter had 6 pages: thank you, wedding events, dress shopping, details, more details, and contact information.

Of course, I made a mistake! My pages have varying lengths of blank spaces both at the top and the bottom. I decided to turn the mistake into my favor– and create a layered newsletter. I created 3 different size pages by cutting off the tops and bottoms.

Here is a picture of the letter inside the metallic silver envelope. The pages aren’t in their neatly– but it’s the best picture. (Who knew it was so hard to photograph paper?)

It may not seem to be much– but this took me many hours! I am very proud. My efforts were rewarded when two of my maids took the time to write me a very sweet thank-you note.
