Bill and Augusto had a festive wedding at Salvage One, a vintage Chicago warehouse with salvageable architectural finds. The couple incorporated their love of music by having two bands perform during the reception. Everything made a statement from the venue to the splatter paint designed cake. As the night ended, guests left with Garrett Popcorn as a sweet treat.

Real Wedding: Julia + Brandon: Details
Julia and Brandon’s wedding was featured yesterday. Today’s post is all about the unique details.

Julia wore two gardenias in her hair.

The bride’s family provided the cross, cup and plate used during the wedding ceremony.
Julia’s calla lily bouquet was simple yet stunning. It really complemented her dramatic gown. All flowers by Julia Rosa.
Julia designed elegant programs in the navy and dark pink color scheme.

The bridesmaids’ bouquets were made of green hypericum berries, steel grass, ti leaves and an artichoke.

Julia and Brandon gave Garrett’s Popcorn, a Chicago favorite, to guests. They created coordinating labels thanking everyone for coming.

The reception at Hotel Sax. The centerpiece includes moss, ti leaves and raspberry orchids. I love how the candlelight creates such an intimate feel to the space.
Event Review: An Exclusive Engagement: Design Your Dream Wedding
I went to the most amazing wedding event at Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spas! It was the best bridal event EVER. Each bride received free manicures, blow-outs, mini-massages, and facials. The quality of the services was excellent. Lenny did a fantastic job on my blow-out. My mani didn’t chip for a full six days!
In addition, there were a ton of vendors there to meet & check out their work. The vendors weren’t very pushy– I had an excellent time.

- FIG Catering: Fantastic food! If you are looking for a caterer for a small wedding or event, I would highly recommend them.
- Fragrant Design: I don’t care for aromatic items.
- Garrett’s Popcorn: Each bride received a tin of popcorn. It would be a super cute idea for a wedding favor.
- Manny B Jewelers: High end jeweler that had some gorgeous rings. I didn’t get to talk to him but I have heard good things about him.
- Paper Couture: I didn’t talk with the vendor but their work was all over the venue. It was very beautiful.
- Sam’s Wine & Spirits: Sam’s is known for brides that can bring in alcohol to their venue. Now, they also have a wine registry!
